Reading Stake/Platform Bodies

Reading offers 3 basic grades
of stake bodies to meet your 
work requirements:

Regular Duty  Primarily used for lighter duty applications, local deliveries and non-hoist applications.  Longsills and outer rails are 6" high 11 gauge roll formed steel, crossmembers are 12 gauge steel on 19"(average) centers. Lengths available from 8' to 18', widths of 86" (srw application) and 96".

Heavy Duty  Used for more demanding work conditions; construction, landscaping and hoist applications.  Longsills of 4" to 8" structural steel  channel, outer rails are 6" high 11 gauge roll formed and crossmembers are 11 gauge steel on 15" (average) centers.  Lengths available from 9' to 24' with 96" width.

Extra Heavy Duty  For your most demanding conditions and higher GVW chassis, ideal for masonry/stone delivery, heavy construction, and crane applications.  Longsills of 4" to 8" structural steel channel, outer rails are 6" high    7 gauge die-formed steel and crossmembers are structural steel channel on 12" centers.  Available with outside stake pockets protected with a 2' x 3/8" tie bar.  Lengths available from 9' to 24'
